Terms and Conditions
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you are entitled to become a Member of the TOTAL Rewards programme and collect Offer Credits and Prize Draw Credits when purchasing goods and services from TOTAL Service Stations.
Joining the Programme
• This promotion is open to UK and Isle of Man residents. Minimum age to claim Promotional Vouchers and enter prize draws is 17 but additional age restrictions may apply subject to specific offer selected. You must register to take part in TOTAL Rewards.
• On acceptance of your registration, you will be allocated a Member's account. You will be able to monitor the balance of your Rewards Balance by logging in to your account online.
• Only one registration or account per person is supported. We reserve the right to close multiple accounts registered by the same person and to cancel Offer and Prize Draw Credits collected on such accounts at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to vary or cancel any special incentives (such as free or promotional Offer and Prize Draw Credits) without notice.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Membership and/or cancel Offer and Prize Draw Credits collected at any time for any good reason, e.g. if you breach these terms and conditions.
Collecting Offer and Prize Draw Credits
• If you are a Member, you will be able to collect Offer and Prize Draw Credits when purchasing goods and services from TOTAL Service Stations at the rate and subject to terms (including the FAQs) published on www.total-rewards.co.uk (the Website). All offers are available when a minimum spend of £30 is made on fuel or in store (excluding tobacco products, E-top up, Lottery purchases and baby milk products) at participating TOTAL Petrol Stations until 27 March 2012.
• Offer and Prize Draw Credits may only be collected on those products and subject to those qualifications that are notified to you from time to time.
• Each spend of £30 or more earns TOTAL Rewards Offer Credits and Prize Draw Credits, which can be used to access partner discount offers and enter prize draws at www.total-rewards.co.uk. There are two ways to take part in TOTAL Rewards: 1) Voucher collection: Each spend of £30 or more will be rewarded with a Promotional Voucher from the Sales Assistant. Only one Promotional Voucher will be distributed per transaction, regardless of total purchase amount. You must ‘bank’ your Promotional Voucher by entering the unique code detailed on it on the Website. Each banked Promotional Voucher is worth one Offer Credit and one Prize Draw Credit. Once banked the Credits give you access to or download of one discount offer and one entry into the current prize draw. 2) My Card Rewards: Customers may register their bank or credit card details on the Website to collect Offer and Prize Draw Credits on all purchases made at participating TOTAL Service Stations. As money spent at TOTAL is accumulated, one Offer Credit and one Prize Draw Credit will automatically be added to the account whenever the £30 threshold is met.
• We reserve the right to withdraw or vary any offer published by us through the Website or any other medium, without notice.
Registering payment cards to My Card Rewards
• By registering the number of your credit and/or debit card (“Identifier Card Numbers”) in the My Card Rewards programme, you hereby authorise us to use your Identifier Card Numbers to identify and calculate any Offer and Prize Draw Credits entitlement you might have. Your card numbers are only stored and processed in encrypted format and only the last 4 digits are visible.
• You may only register a maximum of 15 Identifier Card Numbers per Member account, however this may include cards belonging to other members of your household/family, providing that they have consented to the registration of their Identifier Card Number(s) to assist you to collect Offer and Prize Draw Credits. We may request that you provide written evidence of such consent at any time. If we are not satisfied that all Identifier Card Numbers are included with the holder's consent we reserve the right to de-register any or all Identifier Card Numbers on your account.
• Each Identifier Card Number may only be registered at any one time to one service in the world through which cards are used as identifiers for the purpose of crediting rewards (whether Offer and Prize Draw Credits or other kinds of rewards) when shopping with designated retailers. In the event of more than one attempted registration of the same Identifier Card Number the last registration will prevail and previous registrations will be automatically de-registered.
• Expired cards can be deleted and details for deleted cards will be destroyed.
Redeeming Offer and Prize Draw Credits
• Redeeming Offer Credits: Upon selecting your chosen offer on the website, you must follow the specific redemption instructions according to partner offer. Only one partner discount offer may be redeemed per Offer Credit.
• Redeeming Prize Draw Credits: enter the current prize draw on the Website. Users can enter prize draws as often as they like. A Prize Draw Credit is required for each entry. Only one prize per household in any draw. Prize draws are updated approximately every 28 days. Each Prize Draw Credit is equivalent to one prize draw entry when entered onto the TOTAL Rewards website.
• You may only spend Offer and Prize Draw Credits on products of the type, description and detailed specification that we publish as TOTAL Rewards or Partner Offers, using the Website or other methods that we prescribe, at a date when you have sufficient Credits 'available' to complete a purchase of your chosen Offer(s) or Prize Draw Entry (or Entries). We reserve the right to change the number of Offer Credits required for a particular Partner Offer without notice or to designate one publishing medium as the prevailing one in the event of a conflict of information.
• If you have breached these terms and conditions, or for any other good reason, we may refuse to process a claim.
• Offer and Prize Draw Credits do not have monetary value and cannot be used for any purpose other than redemption against designated Partner Offers or Prize Draw Entries.
• Sale or transfer of Offer and Prize Draw Credits to another person or Member's account is not permitted, unless signed up with My Card Rewards.
• Offer Credits may be converted into Prize Draw Credits but Prize Draw Credits may not be converted into Offer Credits.
• Offers are valid until 31 May 2012 unless otherwise stated by the third party partner on the website.
• All offers are subject to availability.
Availability and Delivery Of Rewards
• All Partner Offers are subject to promotional availability. We reserve the right to withdraw or vary any offer in any way without prior notice. All offers are subject to individual terms and conditions of each third party partner, details of these and all participating third party partner offers can be found on the website.
• Age or health restrictions may apply to some partner offers; please see individual third party partner’s terms and conditions for details.
• Some participating third party partners will have variable prices, opening times and may be closed at certain times of the year. Please ensure you check directly to avoid disappointment.
• No reimbursement for lost or stolen vouchers will be made by the promoter.
• The offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offer/voucher, promotion, events, groups or concessional rates.
• No cash alternative is available. Sale of a third party Partner Discount Voucher is prohibited and exchange is allowed if signed up with My Card Rewards.
• To the fullest extent allowed by law, the promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or injury as a result of promotional participation. It also cannot be held responsible if any participating third party breaches its contract by refusing to accept valid vouchers, but it will attempt to secure compliance.
• The third party partners reserve the right to refuse admission and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities for technical or other reasons.
• Participating third party partners reserve the right to refuse any redemptions that they believe to be not legitimately acquired in accordance with the terms of this offer. Where applicable participating third party partners reserve the right to refuse any vouchers that they believe to be photocopied, forged or defaced.
• If you make a claim for a Partner Offer which has been withdrawn or which cannot be fulfilled within a reasonable period, you will be entitled to reinstatement of the Offer Credit deducted from your account.
• Unless the terms applicable to specific Rewards Partners state otherwise, you will not be entitled to cancel an order placed for a Partner Offer with effect from our acceptance of the order, or with effect from the despatch of tickets or vouchers entitling you to the service.
• We will not be liable if any of our Partners (or their suppliers) refuse to provide services to Members living outside the UK.
Limitation of Liability
• All information listed on the Website is subject to change throughout the promotional period and is correct at the time of going live.
• The promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or replace any individual third party partner or offer without prior notification.
• All queries relating to this promotion should be directed to www.total-rewards.co.uk/faqs
• RONTEC WATFORD Ltd has no liability to you under the TOTAL Rewards programme. If for good reason you are dissatisfied with the Rewards supplied to you, our maximum liability is reinstatement of your Rewards Balance.
• No representations are made regarding any personal tax liability arising as a result of your participation in the TOTAL Rewards programme.
Account and Programme Suspension or Termination
• If the TOTAL Rewards programme is terminated, we will provide a period to allow you to spend your remaining Offer and Prize Draw Credits. After this period has expired, your account will be closed, no further redemptions will be possible and any residual Offer and Prize Draw Credit balances will be cancelled. The period will be made clear on the Website at the time of any decision to terminate or suspend the TOTAL Rewards programme.
• If for any period of 6 months you do not log on to your TOTAL Rewards account, then the status of your account will be amended to a 'Dormant Account'. If you have a ‘Dormant Account’ you will no longer be able to earn Offer and Prize Draw Credits when shopping with TOTAL using your Identifier Card Number(s).
• We reserve the right to terminate any account that has been a Dormant Account for a period of 6 months or more. We will make every effort to contact the account holder, via their nominated email address, to notify the account holder that their account is at risk of termination through inactivity. If a reply is received confirming that the account is still active we will continue to maintain the account. In the absence of a satisfactory response, the account will be terminated and any Offer and Prize Draw Credit balance cancelled.
General Conditions
• The statements made by us in the Data Protection and Privacy Policy form part of the terms and conditions.
• Any printed statements made by us regarding TOTAL Rewards form part of these terms and conditions. Additional terms and conditions may be applied from time to time for particular benefits or product offers.
• We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions, or to withdraw, restrict or terminate the TOTAL Rewards programme at any time. Collecting or spending Offer and Prize Draw Credits after any change constitutes acceptance of revised terms. Other products and services may be launched from time to time and their terms and conditions will be advised at the time of launch.
• Telephone calls to customer services may be recorded for service improvement. National call rates apply from BT landlines. Other operators’ charges may apply.
• Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
• Subject to laws and jurisdiction of England.
Definitions
• 'you' and 'Member' means the person applying for registration as a Member, or opting in to the Membership benefits of the TOTAL Rewards programme in another auditable transaction signifying your Membership intentions and 'we' and 'us' means RONTEC WATFORD Ltd, Registered in England: 40 Clarendon Road, Watford, Herts WD17 1TQ.
• ‘Credits’, ‘Offer Credits', ‘Prize Draw Credits’ and ‘Offer and Prize Draw Credits’ all refer to the points issued in the TOTAL Rewards programme.
• 'Partner Offers' means the goods and services that can be exchanged for Reward Points collected.
• 'Member' means a person who has registered for this promotion and Membership shall be construed accordingly.
• 'Partner' and ‘Partner Network’ refers to those organisations participating in this promotion to provide benefits to the Members for the purposes of this promotion.
• 'Website' means this TOTAL Rewards website.
